The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) organized a successful two-week internship on 'Smart System Design using IoT' at AMI center. The internship aimed to provide participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in designing IoT-based systems.
Participants: The internship attracted 29 undergraduate students. A total of 29 students enthusiastically participated in the internship, displaying a keen interest in exploring IoT technologies and their applications in smart system design.This internship generated income of Rs.29,000/- from the students.
Program Highlights: The internship program comprised a well-rounded curriculum that combined theoretical learning with practical hands-on sessions. The following were the key highlights of the program:
  1. Expert Lectures: Experienced faculty members delivered engaging lectures on various IoT topics, including sensor integration, data acquisition, wireless communication, and cloud platforms. The lectures provided participants with a solid theoretical foundation.
  2. Hands-on Workshops: Participants engaged in hands-on workshops where they gained practical skills in designing and prototyping IoT-based systems. They worked with IoT hardware platforms, integrated sensors, and explored different communication protocols, allowing them to apply their knowledge in a practical setting.
  3. Real-World Case Studies: Real-world case studies were presented to showcase the diverse applications of IoT in different domains, such as healthcare, agriculture, transportation, and smart cities.
