The IEEE KPRIET Power and Energy Society Student Branch Chapter is organizing a Guest Lecture titled “Designing the Grid of Tomorrow: Bridging Renewable Integration with Industry Skills” as part of TechVista’26. This lecture aims to provide students with valuable insights into modern power system design and the integration of renewable energy sources into existing electrical grids.
The session will be delivered by Dr. Rini Ann Jerin, Principal Engineer at Power Projects India, who will share her industry experience and practical knowledge on emerging trends in power systems, renewable integration challenges, and the essential technical skills required to meet current industry expectations. The lecture is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry practices, helping students understand the evolving requirements of the power and energy sector.
This guest lecture will enhance students’ technical understanding of future grid technologies, renewable energy applications, and professional competencies required in the power engineering field. It will also provide an opportunity for students to interact with an industry expert and gain exposure to real-time engineering practices.
