The essay competition took place over a three-month period, from 20.12.24. Participants submitted their essays electronically, allowing for global participation. The competition attracted a diverse range of participants, including students, professionals, researchers, and industry experts from around the world. Entries were received from 16 students, reflecting the interest in the topic. The competition focused on exploring the various factors influencing the durability of reinforced concrete construction, including material selection, design considerations, construction practices, and maintenance strategies. A panel of experts of KPRIET was assembled to evaluate the essays. Judges assessed submissions based on criteria such as clarity, originality, depth of analysis, and relevance to the theme. The finalist to be selected through ACI head office and get reward of cash prize.
